We are living in bizarre times. It seems to me that we are in a spiritual battle. While nobody knows exactly how events will unfold, the following advice cannot hurt to implement. I came upon this advice in a forum several months ago, and I jotted it down for my own sake. I have found it to be beneficial wisdom, so I want to share these 7 common sense steps for preparedness.
.) Get out of debt, including any mortgage.
.) Build an emergency fund of one, then two, then three months current living expenses. Keep two weeks worth of income at home in small bills.
.) Build an emergency supply of one, then two, then three months of food and other consumables. If possible, store fuel for 100 miles worth of driving.
.) Keep belongings in good repair.
.) Establish positive relationships with neighbors. You never know when you or they will need help.
.) Have a 72 hour emergency kit / bug-out bag.
.) Keep your vehicle’s gas tank above half full.
