This blog has been ongoing in some form or another since 2004, but recently the blog was hacked so severely that I thought all was lost! I could not even log in anymore. Thankfully I sought help from an IT professional to help me build a new one. To my surprise and delight, he was able to salvage some of the old posts! Many posts have been lost, but I am going to just let it go, and start over where I left off.
In this blog I will be sharing many sewing projects, “fashion-y” travel adventures, and anything that relates to my hobbies and interests. We are living in very bewildering times, as I write this approaching 2026, and lets just say I am making a concerted effort at this point to break free from the chain of social media and doom scrolling. Life is much more enjoyable for me when I am living a more “analog lifestyle” and staying busy offline. Having said that, blogging reminds me of the early 2000s when the internet was used more casually. I really enjoyed that time period, so this is how I will utilize the blog. With this blog comes something which is becoming more rare… it’s just a personal journal of posts by a real person, not AI, and I’m not trying to to get commissions by click bait or anything. I hope you will occasionally stop by and see what all I’m up to.
