I am overjoyed to announce Joseph and I will be attending Milan Frocktails in Milan, Italy June 14, 2025. This event came to my knowledge through Ilaria, a beautiful and creative friend I made at the Dressmaker’s Ball 2024. She was the winner of the best overall dress competition.
I am going to keep my dress creation top secret until the event! Do I have a design? Yes I do, I already do and it’s months away. Today I will be starting the mock up in muslin to get the fit right before cutting the fabric. I will document the dress making process and post that in a video at at later time.
I can tell you it is inspired by Italian fashion, and specifically, Dolce and Gabbana couture runway. I want to look like a walking art museum with a historic regal vibe. These images are inspiring the general feel I’m going for. Stay tuned for future updates!
