I enjoyed making the V2000 DVF wrap dress pattern so much that I made another one as soon as I finished my purple lipstick print one. This one is quite the 1970’s retro dress!

This time I used a very 70’s inspired geometric print, again from Spoonflower in the organic stretch cotton, by BooBooCollective. This is a print reminiscent of the actual prints DVF traditionally uses in the wrap dress. In fact, I found a very similar version on ebay.

The above images are of an actual DVF dress I found on Ebay. Such a similar look to the dress I made! I think I nailed it!
As I did with my previous make of this pattern, I narrowed the sleeves by tapering to the wrist. This dress is also a bit shorter than the previous dress I made. In the future I plan to make a few more of these including a sleeveless one. This style is completely flattering on any woman.
