It has been extremely hot and humid in Florida lately! I’m talking 106 or so with the humidity factored in. So I decided to make a matching short set, made of red and white gingham. For the shorts of this outfit, I used a vintage (McCall’s 6061) sewing pattern (full post about this pattern here) and for the easy top I used Simplicity 1426. This is a different view from the same pattern I used for my Pin Up pageant top (read about that here). The result is a very casual summer set, perfect for lounging around in when it’s oppressively hot outside.
