We are very excited to be attending the Stitch Festival in London this year! An event I have been very curious about, especially since JoAnn Fabrics is now gone and a “sewing void” is left! This will fill it!
“The Stitch Festival takes place in the heart of Islington, one of London’s most vibrant and diverse areas. It serves the sewing community as well as those interested in crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery and other contemporary crafts.
The Stitch Festival celebrates dressmaking in particular with an emphasis on independent pattern brands and fabric designers, as well as an annual Dressmaking Competition with six different categories. We are attending on Friday March 20th, but the event goes from March 19th – 22nd, 2026.
