October 3, 2026 is the date of The Dressmaker’s Ball this year, held in Leicester, England. It’s a fabulous, elegant event which is held at The Grand Hotel, Leicester.

We are so excited to be attending this year! It will be our 3rd time attending the event, and it is a major highlight of the year for us. We look forward to it for months!

This is an event where the attendees have all sewn their garments for the evening. The room is filled with such glorious creativity and beauty, and the passion of those of us who enjoyed sewing our outfits. It’s a unique event, and as a sewist, it’s an atmosphere that makes one feel very at home and surrounded by like-minded people. In the US, in my local area, I don’t know anyone personally who loves sewing like I do. That’s one reason I feel so connected and joyful attending these kinds of events. It’s just fun to be around others who love sewing as much as I do!
