Ruffled True Wrap Blouse – Vogue 8321 from the year 2006

Vogue 8321 is one of those sewing patterns I found myself to be INSTANTLY in love with, I bought it off Etsy immediately! I love everything about this look; the big collar, the superfluous ruffles, and of course the wrap design whic always looks great on almost every body. I think a wrap is very flattering, and this is a true wrap with a hole left on the side seam to pull the sash through.

When I was in Leicester, England for the Dressmaker’s Ball, I visited Roy’s Material World and selected this chambray fabric with cute dandelion motif , specifically with this sewing pattern in mind.

I think the end result is a little Sezane like! But most of all it reminds me of a modern day Southern Belle look, something Scarlett O’Hara would wear! I’m loving it!
